Stanley FatMax Xtreme 0-33-887: choosing a tape for drylining

Where it helps
Repeated measurements of ceiling heights, stud positions, plasterboard cuts and openings make a readable tape useful. A wide 32 mm blade can be easier to read and hold across a short unsupported span.

Match the full model number 0-33-887. FATMAX Xtreme covers other lengths and versions. Check the listing photograph and model code, and compare the delivered total rather than a headline price.
Limits
A wider tape takes up more pocket space and adds bulk. Check the hook and blade in person when possible, and use another measuring method when a tape cannot be supported safely.
