Where it helps
A profile crimper punches and folds overlapping light-gauge metal profiles to hold them together while assembling a frame. Align the profiles, seat both jaws over the overlap and squeeze fully. Check that the joint is formed and the profiles remain aligned before continuing.
Check profile compatibility
The manufacturer lists the Vorel 04301 as a 300 mm crimper for drywall profiles 0.5–0.8 mm thick. A retailer may list a different Vorel tool under a similar name. Check model code, jaw shape and profile thickness against the specific product before purchase.
On-site handling
Keep fingers clear of the jaws and check the punch and handles for damage. In Florin’s experience a solid hand tool is convenient for repeated metal-stud work, but a drop can still damage a jaw or pivot. Follow the frame-system instructions for any required screws, spacing and structural fixing.
